Ambrosia 2012 is a blend of Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Marselan, Gamay, and Pinot Noir. This wine has a deep ruby color. Due to its late harvested grapes and Amarone-like-scent ”drink of gods” was the suitable title to christen this bold wine. Aromas of black cherry liquor, cooked plum, violets, and coffee dominate, followed by a slight earth and cedar wood notes. Palate wise, this full-bodied wine has high acidity that balances the high alcohol percentage accompanied by flavors of dried blackberry and licorice, and velvety tannins with a long finish.
