We made our 7 Cépages 2013 from seven grape varieties assembled by the enologist to reflect Kouroum’s own chef’s choice. It is a blend of Pinot Noir, Carignan, Grenache Noir, Syrah, Gamay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 12 months in new, low toast, French oak barrels. The nose presents aromas of cloves, prunes, eucalyptus, black and red plums as well as blackberries. The palate is full bodied with balanced acidity and flavors of blackcurrant, and black peppers bolstered by velvety tannins and a long finish. Best accompanied with chicken or pasta dishes.
