Description

Cuvée Bassim 2013 is a limited release magnum bottle (1.5L).  Only 527 bottles of Cuvée Bassim 2013 were produced. In 2013, Bassim Rahhal crafted one of his final masterpieces, creating a special vintage for Cave Kouroum. This wine, already exquisite at its inception, promised remarkable aging potential. We reserved a select portion in our underground cellars. Now, after 12 years, we proudly present Cuvée Bassim, released to honor and celebrate the legacy of Bassim Rahhal. This magnum bottle contains Cinsault, Grenache noir, Carignan, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. We aged this wine 10 years in 400 liters oak barrels. The alcohol level is 15.5%. Nose wise, the most dominant are the candied cheery, prune, eucalyptus, cloves, nutmeg, leather, and cedarwood. Cuvée Bassim 2013 is best served with slow cooked lamb, beef, mushroom dishes, or four cheese pasta.
