Syrah 2011

Made from the exceptional grapes of Syrah in an amazing vintage, our Syrah 2011 remains until this day, the only wine in Lebanon to win the Gold Decanter World Wine Award. To produce our unique Syrah, one third of the wine spends 12 months in new low toast French oak barrels. The remaining two thirds of the wine spends five years in concrete tanks. It has a deep garnet color. The nose is complex with aromas of leather, earth, dried cranberry, cloves, black pepper and raspberry. It is a full bodied, balanced, and supple wine with structured tannins and a lingering finish. This wine is best accompanied with various delicate cheeses or peppery dishes. Syrah 2011 has an ageing potential of 15 years.
